Nancy Sharlene Woods, 73, of Zanesville and Cambridge area, went on to receive her reward, Thursday, October 4, 2018. Nancy was born November 18, 1944 to the late Clarence and Phyllis (Grimes) Smith. In addition to her parents, Nancy is also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Ruth Smith; brother-in-law, Ronald Carter; daughter, Bonnie Heatherington; granddaughter, Rose McGainey; and great granddaughters, Sarah Manlet and Riya Heatherington.

Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, whom she married July 12, 1986, Earnest “Bud” Woods; her siblings, Janet Carter, of Harrisville, Richard (Fay) Smith, of Byesville, Dale (Janice) Smith, of Buffalo, and Beatty (Gary) McElroy, of Cambridge; her children, Peggy (Don) Hayes, of Norwhich, Scott (Pam) Heatherington, of Cambridge, Joni (Brian) Shuman, of Cambridge, and Amy (Tom) McFarland, of Lore City; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Nancy was a devoted member of The Anchor Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She will be missed. You may call on the family Monday, October 8, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at The Anchor Church. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 10 a.m., also at The Anchor Church, 1365 Chamberlain St., Zanesville, Ohio.

Burial will follow Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 1 p.m., in Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH, 43916. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
