Naomi’s Obituary Naomi L. Zachary Winningham Long of Crawfordsville passed away Friday afternoon at Williamsburg Health Care. She was 91. Born April 2, 1928 at Ladoga, she was the daughter of Herbert and Ethel (Eubank) Zachary.

She graduated from Ladoga High School in 1946 and later was employed by R. R. Donnelley’s for twenty six years, retiring May 1, 1989. On December 24, 1948 she married Leroy Winningham. He passed away December 1, 1980.

She later married Frederick Long on February 20, 1987. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2005. She was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, crafting, crochet, knitting, homemaking and family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving family members include: children Stephen (Ginny) Winningham, Gary (Tammy) Winningham and Amy (Charles) Lawson, all of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Zachary, Letha Scott and Ruth Personett. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 28th at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Darlington with Pastor Larry Pitts officiating.

A meal for family and friends will be provided following the service at Rock Point Church in Crawfordsville. Memorial donations can be sent to the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
