Nathan E. Grenoble II, 41, of Harrisburg, formerly of Beech Creek and Muncy, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Harrisburg. Born May 27, 1977 in Williamsport, he was a son of Nathan E. Grenoble and Lynn (Bolopue) Hall. Nathan was a 1995 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a 1998 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, where he received an Associate degree in Tool making Technology.

He previously worked as a tool and die maker at Keystone Friction Hinge Co., South Williamsport, A & B Tool & Die, Lock Haven, Wirerope Works, PMF Industries and ShopVac, all of Williamsport and Fairfield Manufacturing, of Montoursville. Nathan was currently employed at Vantage Foods in Camp Hill. He enjoyed trials bike riding and was a member of the Durty Dabbers, Clinton County.

Nathan loved music and was an extreme reader. He was known for his kindness, intelligence, humility and being able to laugh out loud. Surviving in addition to his parents are a step mother, Kathy Grenoble, of Muncy; step father, Jan Hall, of Howard; brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Tara Grenoble, of McEwensville; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Jed Ritter, of Muncy; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Grenoble, of Jersey Shore; maternal grandmother, Helen Bolopue, of Salona and her companion Grant Swartz; three nephews and one niece; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Doyle Grenoble; maternal grandfather, Lewis Bolopue and a close cousin with whom he shared a birthday in common, Stephanie Mutchler. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Arlene Beechert, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Muncy, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery. Nathan was very interested and humbly concerned in many people’s needs. In his memory the family asks that you donate to a need of your choice.
