Nell Randolph Key, 89, of Florence, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born October 12, 1928 in Courtland, AL. After marrying Terrell Key, they made their home and raised their family in Florence, AL.

Nell was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence and the Ruth Sunday school class. She retired from Frederickson Tire and Appliance. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Nell loved family, music, sports, and dancing. Visitation will be Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev.

Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Terrell Key; her parents, Seburn and Virgie Randolph; two sisters, Sara Henderson and Billie Woods; and half-brothers, Merlin, Grant and Carl Randolph.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia Key Caldwell (Mark), Vicki Nicholson (Neal), and Maria Key Kennedy (Henry); grandchildren, Ashley Chitty (Patrick), Audrey Hornberger, Jessica Satkamp (Chris), Cody Kennedy, Ryan Caldwell (Sarah), and Annie Kennedy; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews that all held a special place in her heart. The family would like to thank Columbia Cottage, Mitchell Hollingsworth Station 5, and Shawna Thompson for their loving care of our Mother. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
