Howard Duward Lewis, 99, of Florence, passed away September 5, 2018. He was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ. Visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chris Moran and Bill Bagents officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Lewis; son, Norman Lewis; parents, Earnest and Lula Lewis; and brother, Edward Lewis.

He is survived by his son, Donald Lewis (Jackie) of Florence; grandsons, Wayne (Dawn) of Dickson, TN; and Joel (Leigh) of Sheffield, AL; great-grandchildren, Chase, Alec, Seth, Lillie, and Carter Lewis; and great-great-grandson, Samuel Lewis. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, great-grandsons, and friends.
