Nellie Mae Blaylock, 67, of Georgetown, TN passed away on October 14, 2018. She was born on April 9, 1951 to the late Roy and Pearl Hedgecoth. Nellie loved to quilt, cook, and was very involved in her church, Meadowview Baptist.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Blaylock Sr. and two brothers Homer Matthews and Hollis Davis. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two children: Ronnie Blaylock Jr. (Suzi) and Bridget Vantiegham (John);… Read More » grandchildren: Wyatt Blaylock, Branson Blaylock, John Vantiegham III and Jordyn Vantiegham; siblings: Linda Lucas, Duggan Hedgecoth, Anna Beaty, Elsie Parks, Vadie Rogers, and Tommy Davis; special nephew Roger Guier. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Meadowview Baptist Church located at 10715 Ooltewah-Georgetown RD, Georgetown, TN 37336. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm at the church on Wednesday October 17, 2018 with Rev. Al Miller officiating.

The family will also receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will follow the service at New McDonald Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga and Dr. Stipanov for their care during this time.
