Obituary for Nicholas Gonzales Nicholas A. Gonzales, 77, of Hammond, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. He is survived by his children: Diane (Leo) Guerra, Dolores (Michael) Mirelez, Nicholas Gonzales Jr., Kathleen (Philip) Sabala, and Angela Garcia; his grandchildren: Christopher & Christina Guerra, Linda (Tom) Osborn, Valerie, Stephanie & Michelle Mirelez, Antonio Turner, Nicholas Jr., Joseph, Dillon & Selena Gonzales, Jennifer Tovar, Joseph Gonzales, and Megan Garcia; and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Gonzales.

After working more than 20 years, he retired from Trinity Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Memory Lane Funeral Home, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, Indiana. The funeral will begin immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.
