Nicholas John Milhaupt 64, Appleton, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 with his family at his side following a short illness. He was born in Green Bay on Sept. 23, 1953.

Nick graduated from Appleton East High School in 1971, where he excelled in basketball. He attended Winona St. and UW Oshkosh and eventually took over his father and uncle’s bike shop, Milhaupt Bike Shop in Appleton. He was an avid reader and biker and taught spinning classes at the YMCA.

He also volunteered with the Earn-A-Bike Program at Riverview Gardens. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Elizabeth Milhaupt, Appleton; sisters: Mary (Edward) Dragovich, Milw and Martha (Michael) Behrens, Plover and a brother, Charles (JoLee Ellingson) Milhaupt, Appleton. Nick was preceded in death by his father in 2016.

The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice, Rennes Health & Rehab staff and his dear friend Theresa for their care and support shown to Nick. There will be a Celebration of Nick’s life at a later date. Please check our website for updated details.
