Nancy Margaret Franck Hardt, age 75, beloved wife of Bill Hardt and mother of David Christopher and Eric William, was called to her eternal resting place on September 16, 2018. Nancy entered this world on August 17, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI, born to Harold and Norma Franck. Nancy graduated with the class of 1961 at Appleton (West) High School, then Alpha Delta Gamma Sorority and graduate of Carroll University Class of 1965.

Nancy and Bill were married in 1965 at First English Lutheran Church, Appleton. Nancy taught elementary grades in Roseville Public Schools, Roseville, MN and was Drama Coach and Senior Class Advisor for Montgomery High School Class of 1988 in Skillman, N.J. Nancy was named Connecticut Youth Program Coordinator Employee of the Year in 1993 and named in Marquis Who’s Who of American Women 1993 – 1994 for her alcohol and drug prevention work for the Town of Old Saybrook Parks and Recreation Department. She was Center Director for the North Canton Township, MI Learning Center.

After moving to Arizona in 2006, she became a proud member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She and Bill owned and ran the Sylvan Learning Center in Bullhead City, AZ and she was a member of Soroptomists International of Bullhead City/Lauglin from 2008 – 2017 and President from 2010 – 2012. Nancy was a past member of the Colorado River Republican Women.

Nancy was a Friend of Bill, recovering since 1983. She and her husband lived in seven states before moving to Bullhead City, AZ. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends throughout the country.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Hardt; two sons: David and Eric Hardt; and cousins, Mary Wisneski and Robert Zilske. A funeral service will take place at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 26, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Tengesdal officiating.

Friends and relatives may visit at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 10 am until 12:45 pm. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
