Obituary for Nicolina Diana Gontarz Nicolina Diana Gontarz 80, formerly of Hamden. Wife of the late Francis J. Gontarz. Born in New Haven, CT.

August 7, 1938 daughter of the late Gennaro and Anna Civitelli Diana. Before retiring to Florida she was an Insurance Adjuster at the MacDonald Company in Hamden, CT and she also worked for many years at Greenberg, Rhein & Margolis Inc She is survived by her loving children, Deborah Latkowski (David) of Hamden, CT, Theresa McCoige (William) of Dunedin, FL, Sharon Gontarz of Dunedin, FL and Frank Gontarz of Wallingford, CT.

She was a devoted and proud grandmother to Dawn Latkowski King (Gary) of Wallingford, CT. and Vincent McCoige (Erika) of Brooksville, FL. She was a loving “Grama the Great” to Saoirse Nicolina McCoige of Brooksville, FL.

She also leaves behind brothers Vincent Diana (Ed Barrus) of South Pasadena, FL and Gennaro Diana (Linda) of Dunedin, FL and a sister Rose Monaco (Robert) of Bethany, CT. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was an avid bowler and loved to go to the casino.

She looked forward to visits from her CT friends and family while living in FL. She spent her last months surrounded by her loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt.

Carmel Church, Hamden, CT. Friends are asked to go directly to church. Burial in All Saints Cemetery.
