Nila Ann Puckett Wise, age 68, passed away on March 14, 2019, in Orem, Utah. Nila was born on July 22, 1950, in Grand Junction, Colorado to Miles and Fronnie (Vincent) Puckett. Nila was a 1968 graduate of Grand Junction High School.

She married her sweetheart, Gary Wise, on June 13, 1970, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Gary and Nila are the proud parents of Gary Leo Wise (Hayden, Lincoln), and Kristina Wise (Makayla, Natasha, Kendra). Nila was an exceptionally honest and caring woman who deeply loved her husband, children, and family.

Nila loved to crochet and enjoyed serving others and using her talents by crocheting baby blankets and clothes for her ward family. She also loved sewing, making jewelry, and she recently enjoyed making her own laundry soap and fabric softener. Nila spent every waking moment with the love of her life, Gary.

They loved being outdoors when able and thoroughly enjoyed camping together. Nila also enjoyed taking care of and being with her grandchildren. We will all greatly miss her infectious laugh and her sweet, honest ways.

Nila is survived by her husband, Gary; son, Gary Leo (Erica); and her grandchildren, Makayla, Natasha, Kendra, Hayden, and Lincoln. Nila is preceded in death by her daughter, Kristina; her father, Miles; mother, Fronnie; and her brother, Robert Puckett. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 22nd from 6-8pm at the Suncrest 2nd Ward building – 140 North 400 West, Orem, UT 84057.

Funeral Services will be held the following day, Saturday, March 23rd at the same location where there will be a viewing from 10-10:45am and the Services will begin at 11am. Burial Services will commence on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 11am at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial – 17111 South 1700 West, Bluffdale, UT 84065. We love you Nila!
