Obituary for Nora Jean Weber Nora Jean Weber, 74, of Dale passed away Sunday October 14th at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. Nora was born June 25, 1944 in Chrisney to Frederick & Elizabeth (Patmore) Weber. Nora was a grade school teacher in Tennyson and retired from Loge Elementary School in Boonville.

She worked as the business secretary at St. Francis Of Assisi Parish, Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Dale and formerly at St. Martin in Chrisney. . Nora was a member of St. Francis Of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Dale.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crafts. She was a religious education teacher at St. Joseph Church for several years. Surviving are four brothers, John (Bonnie) Weber of Tell City, Cletus (Linda) Weber of Lamar, Kenny Weber of Dale, and Frederick (Diane) Weber of Ferdinand.

Nine nieces & nephews and seven great-nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM CDT Friday in St. Francis Of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Dale.

Burial to follow in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Chrisney. Friends may call at the Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand from 2 to 8:00 PM CDT Thursday & from 7 to 9:30 AM CDT Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church.
