Norinne F. Delaney, age 96, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Church Creek Nursing Home in Arlington Heights with her loving family by her side. She was born January 23, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Daniel and Mary (O’Keefe) Delaney. Norinne served her country as a member of the Women’s Army Corps during WWII.

She worked for many years at the Chicago post office and later worked for the State of Illinois. She loved Fannie Mae Candy and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her siblings Lucille Keating, Daniel, Aileen Ford, Mary Moe Springer, Catherine Metzger; nephew Frank (Mary Kay) Moe; and many other dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Interment will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:30 am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
