Norma Gail Robertson passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Tuesday March 5, 2019. Gail was born August 21, 1932 in Norman, Oklahoma. Gail married her high school sweetheart, Ramon D “Robbie” Robertson, March 23, 1951.

They made their home in Muskogee following Robbie’s service in the US Army and raised three sons, Dale, Dave & Dean. For 23 years Gail taught business classes at Muskogee High School and served as the Business Dept. Chair.

She touched the lives of many local students with her kind and patient demeanor. She was Junior Class and Teens for Christ sponsor and was named Outstanding Teacher in 1981. Her strong Christian faith and living example of unconditional love was evident to anyone that met Gail.

She was an active member of St Paul United Methodist Church. She participated in Volunteers in Missions making mission trips to Guatemala, Alaska and Africa. She was a Certified Lay Speaker for the Methodist Church and taught numerous bible study and Sunday school classes.

Gail was preceded in death by parents, Burl and Della Hepp; brother, Robert Hepp; husband, Robbie; son, Dale; and grandchildren, Bradley Robertson and Autumn Harrison. Survivors include sister, Kay Holder; sons, David Robertson and wife Cindy, Dean Robertson and wife Kim; daughter-in-law, Sharon Robertson; grandchildren, Joshua Robertson and wife Nikki, Jed Robertson and wife Jennifer, Carly Marshall and husband Matt, Ashley Kiefer and husband Corey, Lyndi Sanders and husband Justin, and Raylee Gail Robertson; great-grandchildren, Destiny and Noah Robertson, Liza and Charlotte Gail Marshall; loving nephews, Robert Manning and wife Carol, John Manning and wife Regina, Phil Harris and wife Cathy, Rex Harris and wife Anne; plus many great nieces and nephews; and Special friend Marilyn Palmieri. A family conducted celebration of life and unconditional love will be held Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St Paul United Methodist Church in Muskogee.
