Norma J. Stricklen, age 80, of Orange Park, FL passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born on April 21, 1938 in Arnett, WV to Alonzo and Lettie Dickens. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 59 ½ years, James “Jim” Stricklen; 3 children: Darren K. Stricklen (Cathleen), Dena L. Leino (Walter “Frank”), and Lori L. Buddecke (Michael); 6 grandchildren: Kristen Leino, Glenn Buddecke (Jenny), Lyndsi DeBerry (Trey), Jennifer Patrick, Lianne Stricklen, and Brian Leino (Heather); 5 great-grandchildren: Brantley, Benten, Benjamin, Rowen, Gray; 4 brothers: Charles (Sue), Edsel, Ronald (Charlotte), and Roger (Wanda) Dickens; and 2 sisters: Mildred Bagshaw (Richard) and Diana “Susie” Dillon (Derrick). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 28, 2018 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

Viewing and visitation will be one hour prior to service, from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Garden of the Good Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arnett Chapel Community Church, 4472 Coal River Rd, Arnett, WV 25007 (304) 934-5365.
