Leominster – Norman E. Winchester, 69, of Leominster, died April 19, 2018, in HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster, after an illness. He was born in Fitchburg, March 16, 1949, son of the late Sherwood and Norma (Withington) Winchester. He served in the US Air Force from 1967 – 1971, attaining rank of Sargeant.

Norman had been a Lunenburg Police Officer for many years. After retiring from the force he became a Real Estate Agent at Foster Healey Real Estate. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish.

Norman was predeceased by his wife of 23 years, Margaret T. (Clapp) Winchester, in 2015. He is survived by a brother, Roger Winchester and his wife Merri-Ann of Lunenburg, along with several nieces and nephews. Norman’s funeral will be held Monday, April 23, 2018, with a Mass of Chritian Burial in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster, at 12:00 noon.

Burial will be held at a later date. Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 22nd, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA.
