Norman G. Kuhar, 77, of Ellsworth, MI, passed away on September 26, 2018 at Munson Medical Center. Norm was born on December 24, 1940, in Detroit, the son of George and Mary (Kochis) Kuhar. Norm resided in Grosse Pointe Woods with his family for many years and retired after 42 years as an executive at Kux Graphics in Detroit.

He loved being around people and most importantly providing for them. On October 18, 1974, in Dearborn Heights, MI, he married Terri Bernacik who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Matt Kuhar (Lisa Wiggins) of Fraser, MI, Brent (Jennifer) Kuhar of Grosse Pointe Park, MI, 2 granddaughters, Myra and Nadine Kuhar both of Grosse Pointe Park, and a brother Douglas Kuhar of St. Clair Shores, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dolores Kolonay. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 4 p.m. at the Tompkins Community Center, 14920 Windmill Pointe Dr., Grosse Pointe Park, MI, 48230. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Solanus Casey Center, Attn.
