Novel Davis was born May 13, 1947, to Pauline Beason in Mt. Vernon, NY. She went home to be with the Lord, May 13, 2019 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

“Pessie or Pat,” as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, received her early education in the public school system of Mt. Vernon, NY and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School.

Novel worked as a secretary at White Plains Housing Authority, White Plains, NY, for more than 37 years. Novel loved to travel to the islands in the Bahamas, Cancun, Mexico, and Canada. She enjoyed watching television, NCIS was her favorite, reading a good book and cooking.

She was preceded in Death by her parents and a brother, Larry Davis. Novel leaves to cherish her memory, her companion of 55 yrs, William Maynard; son, Dakarai Maynard; siblings, Gary Beason and Beatrice Beason; niece/grandaughter, Janei Chambers; cousin/sister, Brunette Davis-Lewis (Edward) and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
