Obituary for Olene Tyson Gurley Olene Tyson Gurley, 89, of Summerville, widow of John Phillips Gurley, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at her residence. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Gurley was born February 14, 1929, in Lancaster.

SC, daughter of the late Olen Tyson and Mae Bell Harris Tyson. She retired from Robert Bosch Corporation as a Quality Control Inspector. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.

Survivors include: three daughters; Vadene Echols of Ladson, Brenda Buchanan (Donald) of Newborn, GA and Sandra Ackerman of Lancaster, SC; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one niece and one nephew: Sharon Reynolds and Michael Tyson.
