Obituary for Lois Rice Warren Lois Rice Warren, 93, of Ravenel, wife of the late Daniel Legare Warren, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Roper Hospital. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11 o’clock at Sauldam Baptist Church, 5945 County Line Rd.

, Ravenel, SC 29470. Lois was born on October 20, 1925 in Givhans, SC, daughter of the late Charles Harvey and Janie Hill Rice. She graduated class of 1942 from Ridgeville High School.

She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star OES 25. Lois was a member of Sauldam Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She retired from Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.

Survivors include: two sons: Legare Warren (Scottie) of Ravenel and Micah L. Warren of Givhans; one daughter: Shirley W. Roberts (the late Gustave R. Roberts, Sr.)of Summerville; one sister: Elizabeth Rice Burbage of Givhans; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and three great great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister: Doris Rice Burbage; two brothers: Coolidge Rice and Charles Harvey Rice; one son: Clyde Warren; and one granddaughter: Amy Scarlet Warren.
