Jackie “Jack” Lavern Hall, 76, of Summerville, husband of Barbara Stack Hall, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at his residence. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 4 o’clock at Highland Memorial Gardens, 1553 Dawson Branch Rd. , Summerville, SC 29483.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ridgeville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 278, Ridgeville, SC 29472 or Homestead Hospice, 7410 Northside Drive, North Charleston, SC 29420. Jack was born on October 22, 1942 in Columbia, SC, son of the late J.B. Hall and Lottie Hallman Hall. He attended Eau Clair High School in Columbia, SC.

He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Airforce. His first love was astronomy. He was a man of many talents.

He enjoyed wood working, drawing, and photography. Survivors including his wife Barbara of 52 years are: one daughter: Melinda Hall West, three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one brother: Jimmy Bruce Hall (O’Detta) of Gulf Port, MS.
