JACKSONVILLE, FL – In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Maybelle F. Jackson, 81 of Jacksonville, Florida (formerly of North Charleston, SC) who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Maybelle Felder Jackson was born to Inez Felder Harley October 7 1937 in Blackville SC. At an early age her family moved to Charleston SC where she was educated through their public school system.

In 1956 Maybelle ll graduated from Bonds Wilson High School. In 1972 she graduated from Roper School of Nursing. She was a nurse for over 30 years through Roper Hospital.

On January 3 1958 she married Wade Jackson Jr this union was blessed with four children. Maybelle grew up in the Baptist church but at the age of nine her family came to the House of God Church. She excepted Christ as the Lord over her life and was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost.

She was a member at Southeast House of God location and later came to Five Mile where she was a member until her death. She has held many offices in the church Sunday School teacher, Asst. Superintendent, Missionary and Courtesy worker, Deacon board, and Senior choir member.

She loved the Lord and Served him faithfully until her health declined. Maybelle was loved by so many and enjoyed talking to people about the Lord wherever she went. She was a mother and grandmother figure to so many.

Maybelle l is preceded in death by her loving mother Inez F Harley, sister Mamie H Raysor, three brothers Charlie Felder, Garfield Harley and Leroy Felder, one niece Leona Butler. Maybelle leaves to cherish fond memories three sons Demetrius Anthony (Crystal) Jackson, Rodney Wade Jackson and Sheldon Lamont (Tracey-Ann)Jackson one daughter Nikki Jalondia Jackson. Seven grandchildren Shannon Jackson, Tiffany Jackson, Algernon Jackson, Taylor Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Mykala Williams-Jackson, and Jelani-Akil Jackson.

Three great grands. Her Godparents Bishop Leroy and Rosalee Middleton Sr. One Stepsister Phanechia Harley. One sisters-in-law Lizzie Felder.

Eight nieces and seven nephews a host of grand nieces and nephews and cousins. Three God children Denise Middleton-Rice, Elder Eugene Davis and Brian Williams. Best friends for many years Betty McKelvey ,Barbara Heyward, and Lillian Johnson.

Special grands Jordan Simmons, Brittany Davis, and Shayla Bellinger. As well as a host of special friends and family members. ***FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE INCOMPLETE.
