Voncile Platt Todd, 79, of Ladson, wife of Jerry Clifford Todd, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at MUSC. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11 o’clock at Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries, 3190 W 5th N St., Summerville, SC 29483.

Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd. , Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers will be accepted.

Voncile was born on May 30, 1939 in Holly Hill, SC, daughter of the late Morgan and Rhodia Platt. She attended Holly Hill Schools. She was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries.

Voncile enjoyed reading, crafting and sewing. Survivors including her husband Jerry of 45 years are: five children: Debra Ann Crosby of Ladson, Vanessa Russell of Ladson, Douglas Creel (Kristie) of Newnan, GA, Teresa Gore (Marc) of Goose Creek, and Julie Faye Milford (Russell) of Summerville; eleven grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; four step children: Deborah Dare Acuff, James Edward Todd of Knightsivlle, Deanna Buhle of Charleston, and Kenneth Randall Todd of Jacksonville AL; three siblings: Aaron Platt (Eva) of Summerville, Minnie Davidson of Ridgeville, and Frances Creel (Stephen) of Ladson; one sister in law: Carrie Platt of Ridgeville. She was predeceased by three siblings: Naomi Fuller, John Platt, and Eunice Platt.
