Rockport- Olivia L. Cantu passed away peacefully on March 18, 2019 with her loving family at her side. She was 93. Olivia was born in San Marcos, Texas on July 15, 1925 to Rita (Arias) and Felix Lopez.

She was a resident of Rockport for six years and former resident of San Antonio and Edinburg. Olivia was a caregiver and homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She will be missed by all her knew her. Preceding in death is her husband: Pablo Cantu; 2 sons: Richard Cantu and Pablo Cantu, Jr.; a daughter: Gloria Cantu; and her parents: Felix and Rita Lopez. Survivors include a son: Martin Cantu (Rhonda) of Rockport, Texas; a daughter: Gloria Young (David) of California; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; a sister: Delores Rios (Pete) of California; and a sister-in-law: Donna Cantu of California.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Friday morning, March 21, 2019 at the funeral home.

A graveside service wll be held Friday, 1:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi. Guestbook and video available online at www. resthavenfunerals.com Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Aransas Pass.
