Ollie Faye Manweiler, 88, of La Junta passed away on March 13, 2018 at the Crowley County Nursing Home in Ordway. She was born on February 11, 1930, in Paris, Texas to Rush & Willie Mae (Tharp) Williams. She married Henry H. Manweiler on February 20, 1949 in Sugar City; he preceded her in death in October of 2004.

She was a dedicated farmers wife and mother. She worked at the Pioneer Hospital in 1972 where she became Supervisor of Housekeeping, where she retired from in 1994. She… Read More » enjoyed working summers at Walmart in her retirement.

During the winter months she and Henry enjoyed snow birding in Arizona. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Sugar City.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Larry) Cobb of Colorado Springs; Mona Bigelow of Colorado Springs; Keith (Valerie) Manweiler of La Junta; grandchildren, David (Tammie) Cobb, Trina Cobb, Tawnya (Jim) Folwell, Tracy (Robin) Sundling, Brad (Dara) Williams, Megan (Kevin) Miles and Ashley Manweiler; nine great-grandchildren; four great, great-grandchildren; siblings, Birl Dean (Shirley) Williams, Verna Mae Guy, Betty Sue (Don) Filbeck; sister-in-laws, Peggy Williams, Joyce Manweiler and Audrey Manweiler; brother-in-law, Robert (Charlene) Manweiler; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, R.W. and E.J. Williams; son-in-law, Tracy Bigelow. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Miller officiating.

Inurnment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Sugar City. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Crowley County Nursing Home, 401 Idaho Avenue, Ordway, CO 81063 direct or through the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.
