Norma Jean Cannon, 80, of La Junta passed away on October 21, 2018 at the Fowler Health Care Center. She was born on January 9, 1938 to Robert & Helen Alyce (Yarnell) Dawley. She married Carroll Cannon on June 3, 1956; he preceded her in death on December 28, 2013.

She is survived by her daughters, LuAnn Cannon of La Junta; Melody Cannon of La Junta; daughter-in-law, Shirley Cannon of La Junta; brother, Robert Dawley of Simi Valley, CA; grandchildren, Amy Headlee of Swink; Jennifer… Read More » Cannon of La Junta; Taylor Glass of Wheeling, WV and Madison Rose Glass of Chapel Hill, NC; great-grandchildren, Joseph & Emily Headlee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Michael Cannon and sister, Laura Jane Brack. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Lou Ward officiating.
