Obituary for OPAL ULDINE PARRISH PARRISH, Opal Uldine, age 86, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, peacefully at her residence in Middletown, Ohio. She was born in Ramsey, West Virginia, but lived most of her adult life in Middletown. Opal worked for several years in the Middletown City Schools, the Middletown Journal as a Branch Manager of paperboys, and also the old Middletown Hospital for 17 years.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roy Parrish; a daughter, Judy (Jim) Ratliff; brother, Clarence Crist of West Virginia; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Roy Kenneth Parrish Jr. and James Alan Parrish, Sr., and most recently a grandson, James Alan Parrish Jr., and two sisters Lois Kelly and Eva Justice. Opal was best known for her extreme generosity and kindness, truly living by The Golden Rule.

Visitation will be Monday, December 3, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St, Middletown, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery, Monroe, Ohio. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
