Obituary for Marvin Leroy Priest Marvin Leroy Priest, age 80, of Franklin, Ohio, died Thursday November 22, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his two daughters. He was born in Miamisburg, OH on February 27, 1938 to Everett and Leona (Burns) Priest. Marvin served in the Army Reserves and also the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed building remote control planes and model Naval ships. He was employed with Dayton Power and Light for 31 years and retired in 2000. Marvin listened to the 1940’s Big Bands, enjoyed gardening and working on his house.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Jeanette (Gebhart) Priest. Marvin is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Ben) Wallace, Jennifer (Keith) Artz; four grandchildren, Shawn, Tim, Kylie and Koen. Funeral services are 5:00 pm Sunday November 25, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Dan Jordan officiating.

Military Honors will be given following the Memorial Service. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Following the service the family will be having a gathering at the Anderson Life Celebration Center.
