Obituary for Hiram Chester DePew Jr. Hiram Chester DePew, age 87, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at his home. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on November 8, 1931 to the late Hiram and Georgia (Helton) DePew. Hiram was employed with Dayton Power and Light for 20 years.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Hiram will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his two siblings, Loretta and Clyde.

Hiram is survived by is wife of 67 years June DePew; two sons, Michael (Christine) DePew, Robert DePew; daughter, Melissa (Rick Wright) DePew; three granddaughters, Tanya (James) Eversole, Jennifer (Christopher) Howard, Katherine (Dominic) Coffey; grandson, Adam (Meredith) DePew; five great grandchildren, Daniel Brandt, Gabriella Howard, Jackson Howard, Jase Howard and Levi DePew. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Visitation will held prior to service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Please visit www.
