Obituary for EDWARD W. MASCHINOT MASCHINOT, Edward W., age 86, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1932 in Clifton, Kentucky and lived in Ohio all his adult life. He served in the U. S. Air Force for four years during the Korean Conflict and received the Korean Service Medal and the nation Defense Service Medal.

Edward was employed as a welder at AK Steel retiring in 1994. Preceding him in death were his father, Edward Maschinot and mother, Mildred Obermeyer Bethge; and his wife Vernona in 2009. He is survived by three children, Debbie (Mike) Clay, Edward (Teresa) Maschinot and Melodie (Gary) Feltner; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

Private visitation and funeral services at the convenience of the family will be held at Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery with military services by the Franklin V.F.W. Post 7596 Honor Guard. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
