Ora “Pat” Lee Baker Roberts, 94 of Shelby passed away, Monday, October 22, 2018 at White Oak Manor -Shelby. Born February 16, 1924 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Robert Dewey Baker and Emma Warren Covinin. She was retired from Kings Department Store and A.V. Wrays.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of Second Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Eddie” Yates Roberts; a daughter, Barbara Bowman; grandson, Stacey Roberts; two half-brothers… Read More » and one half-sister. Survivors include her son, Robert “Bob” Roberts and wife, Kaye of Casar; son-in-law, Jim Bowman of Shelby; three grandchildren, Sandra Price and husband, Benny, Edwin Bowman and wife, Leslie and Van Roberts; numerous great grandchildren; and three half-brothers.

A special thanks to White Oak Manor and especially to Cara “Gertie” Irvin and Erin for the special care they gave Mrs. Roberts during her illness. Visitation will be immediately following the service. A funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Robert Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park, Boiling Springs. A guest register is available at www.
