Oriana “Ann” Toney August 31, 1949 – March 06, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card “You ask me how I know God lives, He lives within my heart” Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Miss Oriana “Ann” Toney, age 69 of Roanoke Rapids, NC, who transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, NC. “Ann”, as she was affectionately called, the daughter of the late James and Vernice “Shorty” Toney Martin, was born August 31, 1949 in Halifax County, NC. Viewing will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Cofield Mortuary.

A Celebration Honoring the Life and Spirit of Miss Oriana “Ann” Toney will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. from The Sanctuary of Quankey Missionary Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids, NC with the Pastor, Rev. Joseph L. Battle giving words of comfort. Miss Toney will lie in state at the church one hour (10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.) prior to the service and will be laid to rest in The Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

The Cofield Family and Staff of Cofield Mortuary are honored to provide comfort, assistance and service to The Toney and Martin Family.
