Obituary for Orphie Marie Peck Orphie “Memom” Marie Peck, a 20 year resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away April 11, 2018. She was born December 16, 1932, in Checotah, TX, to Christine Watson. Orphie was a member of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall and had a servant’s heart.

She was a loving and caring person and connected with everyone she encountered in life. At one time Orphie worked as a concierge at Terrace House Apartments in Dallas. She later worked as an ambassador at Rock Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care in Rockwall.

Orphie rarely met a stranger. She touched so many lives in her time here and she will be remembered by everyone. Orphie is survived by her loving grandchildren: Jason and Cathy Middlebrooks; great grandchildren: D.J., Kamron, Austin, Colin and Catrina Middlebrooks; sister-in-law: Paula Hodges; cousins: Karon and Milton Flemming; and good family friends: Brad and Sammy Bischof; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband: John T. Peck; and daughter: Tonja Bridges. The family will receive friends Monday, April 16, 2018, at The Gathering Place at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Lake Pointe Church – Auditorium, 701 I-30, Rockwall, 75087, with Pastor Steve Stroope officiating.

Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave. , Dallas, 75243. Upcoming Events Gathering 2018 APR 16.
