Orville is survived by his mother, Sylvia Yellow Thunder of Hot Springs, SD; brothers, Thomas, Curtis and Patrick Yellow Thunder, all of Hot Springs, SD; sister, Genevieve Chase In Sight of #4 Community, near Oglala, SD; nieces, Carmelita (Darrien) Yellow Thunder-New Holy, Lynette (Eric) Dubois, Alicia Yellow Thunder, Kimberly Yellow Thunder, Tess Chase In Sight, Natasha Ballentine and Riva Red Feather; nephews, Gentry Ribitsch, Chris Yellow Thunder, Jayme Yellow Thunder, Jim Yellow Thunder, Jr. and Joe Yellow Thunder; and grandchildren, Nathan Dubois & Mariah Dubois, Genriel Ribitsch, William Tymes, Jr., Athena Yellow Thunder, Joseph Tymes, Shaylene Yellow Thunder, Kaylynn Two Bulls and Katrina Yellow Thunder.

Orville was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Yellow Thunder, Sr.; spouse, Francisa Raye; brothers, Reuben Yellow Thunder, Sr., Jim Yellow Thunder, Sr. and Winfred Yellow Thunder, Jr.; nephew, Reuben Yellow Thunder, Jr.; aunt and uncle, Gus & Bernice Chase In Sight; and grandmother, Winnie Chase In Sight. Visitation Services: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, April 13, 2018 at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs, SD with vigil services starting at 7:00 PM at the church.
