OBITUARY Oscar Wilson April 11, 1917 – November 22, 2018 Wilson, Oscar, originally from Ohio County in Western KY and a resident of Jefferson County for the past seven decades, went to be with the “Old Master” and his precious pets Tobbe and Chopper on Thanksgiving Day. He was 101 years of age and is survived by two sons; two grandsons; and his “Darling” wife, Johna. He was a self-made man who never shied away from hard work in a coal company, a heat treating plant in Detroit during WWII, or in selling real estate in Jefferson County for nearly 45 years.

He loved and was loved by family and friends alike. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel followed by his family attending to his burial at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, he and the family suggest in memoriam, donations to one of three animal shelters that he supported- Preston Animal Hospital Clinical Care in care of Dr. Caryl Kline, Beagle Rescue, and Woodstock Animal Foundation.

FAMILY Oscar was 101 years of age and is survived by two sons; two grandsons; and his “Darling” wife, Johna. He was a self-made man who never shied away from hard work in a coal company, a heat treating plant in Detroit during WWII, or in selling real estate in Jefferson County for nearly 45 years. He loved and was loved by family and friends alike.
