OBITUARY Ovella Swanner May 9, 1924 – October 7, 2018 Ovella Clardy Swanner, age 94, passed, Sunday, October 7, 2018, surrounded by family, at her home in Louisville. Ovella will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Diane, grandchildren Mike, Cheri, Josh, Sarah (Wayne), and Marti (Jonathan), seven great-grandchildren; and a sister in law, Barbara Clardy. Ovella was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, daughter, Ray Ann, granddaughter, Shannon, parents, Samuel and Nannie, sister, Clara Mae, and brothers Jesse, Avery, and Charles.

A celebration of Ovella’s life will be held at noon on Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made in Ovella’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or the National Honor Flight. Online condolences may be shared with the family at, www. archlheadysouthernfh.com.
