Obituary for Pamela Ruth Krtek Pamela Ruth Krtek, 64, passed away May 27, 2018 at her home in Miller, MO. Pamela was born June 7, 1953 in Parsons, KS to Warren James and Charal Bogardus “Matthews” Parnell. Pamela worked as a receptionist for a local doctor’s office in Carthage.

Pamela was united in marriage to Richard A. Krtek on November 4, 1978 in Carthage’s Central Park; he survives. Pamela is also survived by two sons, Kurtis Krtek (Amy) of Webb City and Rio Krtek (Katrina) of Roanoke, TX; two brothers, Mark Parnell (Lisa) of Joplin, Jason Matthews (Becca) of Hockley, TX; one sister, Jennifer Shouse (Kevin) of Neosho, MO; seven grandchildren, Eva Krtek, Abram Krtek, Jeffrey Khalek, Damin Krtek, Annabelle Khalek, Andrew Prince and Lenna Krtek; and mother-in-law, Eva J. Krtek. Pamela is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, William and Jean Parnell and Charles and Ruth “Bogardus” Noel.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Carthage. Burial will be at Gray’s Point Cemetery in Rescue, MO. Online condolences may be made at www.
