Obituary for Pasquale (Pat) F. Coppola Utica – Pasquale (Pat) F. Coppola, 85, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, with his loving wife by his side. Pat was born on November 2, 1933, in Utica, the son of Henry and Anna (LiBritz) Coppola. He was a graduate of Proctor High School, Class of 1952, and served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 during the Korean Conflict.

On September 12, 1959, Pat married Lillian Tomaino in St. Agnes Church, with whom he has shared 59 years. Pat retired as District Sales Manager from the Observer-Dispatch. He was a member of the New York Mills Seniors, where he made many wonderful friends.

Pat was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital and bowled for many years in the Co-Ed League at Pin-O-Rama. Surviving besides his beloved wife, Lillian are two sons, Patrick Coppola and his wife, Alison Deitz Coppola and Michael Coppola and Amy Rapholz; grandchildren, Michael Coppola, Emily Coppola, Paige Coppola Brodock and her husband, Graham, Nicholas Coppola, Corinne Coppola, Maria Eleana Coppola Haumiel and her husband, Adam, Matthew Coppola and his girlfriend, Lauren Chann and Madison Coppola; great-granddaughter, Addison Marie Brodock; sister, Patricia Trimboli; brother and sister-in-law, Henry (Hank) and Judy Coppola; brother-in-law, Frank Tomaino; aunt, Kay LiBritz. Pat also leaves nieces, Karen Coppola Wilson and husband, Donnie, Christine Coppola and friend, Bob Tucker, Kathy Trimboli Dailey and her husband, Doug; great-nieces, Marianne, Jessica, and Nicole; great great niece, Emily and many cousins in the Coppola, LiBritz, and Tomaino families.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd. , Utica. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home and 11:30 a.m. from the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider remembrances to the Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center’s Activity Dept. , c/o Linda Geno, 2535 Genesee St., Utica, NY 13501.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The Coppola family is grateful to many: Eddie Hage for the many visits, Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center third floor staff, especially Debbie, for their kindness, Pat’s brother, Hank and wife, Judy, sister, Patricia, brother-in-law, Frank for the love and devotion during his illness, Dr. Sudershan Dang for the many years of care and support and the Visiting Nurse Association for their care when Pat was home.
