Patricia’s Obituary Patricia Ann Robinson (Pat) departed this earthly dwelling on April 21, 2019 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. She was the first born to the late Robert Robinson Jr., and Elease E. Robinson, February 24, 1947 in Winston-Salem, NC. Patricia graduated Class of 1965 with honors from Atkins High School.

She is survived by two beloved daughters: Shaycherene D. Robinson, of Winston-Salem, NC; Makeissah E. Robinson, of Dallas, TX; her dearest grandson, Jaylyn K. Robinson and God-grandson Jerrac Owens; one brother Robert Robinson Jr. (Valerie), of New York, NY; her sister Arneise Robinson of Winston-Salem and a host of family and friends. Pat was predeceased by her brother Ronnie Robinson. Patricia’s adventurous spirits lead her to relocate to Washington, D.C., where she worked at Sibley Memorial Hospital as a CNA and later with the United States Postal Service.

She returned to her hometown in 1982 where she worked many positions before retiring from her dream job as a Dorm Mother at the N.C. School of the Arts. She found her joy and solitude in crafting colorful Afghans, totes bags, hats, scarfs, and floral arrangements of which she proudly shared with her loved ones. If you knew Pat, you know her deepest desire was to be the world’s greatest clown – yes a clown.

Patricia is known for her jovial personality and outrageous sense of humor which truly made her the “life of the party”. Pat Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12;30 pm-1 pm at the funeral home.
