Obituary for Patricia A. Penn (Sheehan) WATERVLIET – Patricia A. Sheehan Penn, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Albany County Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Troy on April 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary Dowd Sheehan. Pat was raised and educated in Watervliet and was a resident for most of her life.

Pat was a homemaker and was a communicant of the former St. Brigid’s Church in Watervliet. She was a member of the Watervliet Lodge of Elks #1500 Ladies Auxiliary and the Watervliet High Dad’s Club. Pat loved Christmas and the holidays, loved to bowl and enjoyed family vacations in Old Orchard Beach, ME.

She was the loving wife of the late LeRoy N. Penn, Sr. who died in 2001; beloved mother of LeRoy N. (Theresa Knickerbocker) Penn, Jr. of Ballston Spa, George J. (Jill) Penn of Colonie and Andrew P. (Debra Bruns) Penn of Latham; grandmother of Ryan Barrow, Joey Penn and Lauren Pfaffenbach; dear sister of Jack (Rose) Sheehan of Clifton Park and the late Joan Sheehan of Watervliet. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Monday at 10 am at the Parker Bros.

Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Interment will follow at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-6 pm.
