Obituary for Patricia P. King (Colburn) PITTSFIELD, MA – Patricia P. Colburn King, 79, died Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Kimball Farms in Lenox, MA. Born in Springfield, MA, on June 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Mary Etta Colburn Aldrich and stepdaughter of the late Harry H. Aldrich, Sr She was a 1958 graduate of Billerica Memorial High School, and had worked for 8 years at John Hancock in Boston.
A resident of the area since 1980, Pat had worked at various jobs in the Pittsfield/New Lebanon area. For 13 years, she was employed by Elder Services of Berkshire County in Pittsfield, retiring in 2008. She was also a volunteer for Elder Services’ Nutrition Program for many years.
Pat was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Survivors include her two daughters, Debora A. Aldrich and her partner, Faith Lemaire, of Pittsfield, and Dawn Marie (King) Regan and her husband, James K. Regan, of Lanesboro, MA; six grandchildren, Thomas and Timothy Aldrich, Troy Mancini, Corey and Amanda Sweener, and Brandon King; three great-grandchildren, Christian, Nevaeh, and Logan Aldrich; five step-grandchildren, Vinnie and Jamie Regan, Robert and Chad Lemaire, and Heather Clermont; seven step great-grandchildren, James and Valorie Regan, Carter, Hope, Dakota, Noah, and Lillian Lemaire; her former husband, Alan L. King, Sr. of Pittsfield; her very good friends, Pat Kerr, Jean White, Linda Villanueva, and Louis Montini, and several cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Lesack, and her aunt, Doris Shaw.
Relatives and friends may call at the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home, 457 NY 43, Stephentown, NY, on Thursday, from 4 to 7 pm, followed by the funeral service at 7 pm. A private burial will occur at Garfield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Elder Services of Berkshire County, 877 South Street, Suite 4E, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
