Milton, WI Patricia M. Cordell, age 91, of Milton, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born on July 29, 1926, in Evanston, IL, the daughter of E. Kearns and Kathryn (Crush) Kirchberg. After graduating high school, she attended St. Lawrence College in Appleton, WI, for two years.

She married Arthur J. Cordell on May 12, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hubbard Woods, IL. Patricia, Arthur, and the family moved from Glenview, IL, to Milton… Read More » in 1970. After retirement, they relocated to Medford, OR, and then several other towns in North Central Wisconsin.

Patricia settled in Wautoma, WI, following Arthur’s passing. She resided there for 12 years. While living in Wautoma, she was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Her strong faith and love for the Lord was evident in her service. Patricia attended daily mass and led the rosary, served as an officer on the Council of Catholic Women, was a Co-Coordinator of the Mission’s Society, enjoyed singing in the church choir, and when needed, would assist with other church ministries. She loved knitting and donated most of her afghans to the church.

Patricia enjoyed watching Fox News, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, and of course never missed watching a Green Bay Packer game! Patricia returned to Milton in May, 2018, to be close to family, friends, and her beloved St. Mary’s Church, where she was formerly a member. Patricia is survived by her four children: Katherine (John) Winkelman of Milton, Thomas (Kristine) Cordell of Sacramento, CA, David Cordell of El Cajon, CA, and Robert (Jennifer) Cordell of Paulsbo, WA, nine grandchildren: Eric (Katherine) Stockman, Kristin (Rex) Schout, Angela Cordell, Theresa (Jonathan) Mack, Ryan and Providence Cordell, Jonathan (Katherine) Cordell, Matthew and Jared Cordell, and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Edward, William and John. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Milton. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, please donate memorials to the Mission’s Society, 364 S. Cambridge St, Wautoma, WI. The Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton, is assisting the family.
