Obituary for Patricia Fern (Baldwin) Carey Patricia Fern (Baldwin) Carey, age 82 of Ottawa, KS passed away May 19, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City, KS.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to the service hour. Pat was born in Ottawa, KS, June 21, 1935 the daughter of Earl Adams and Agnes (Guy) Adams. She grew up in rural Franklin County area graduating from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1952.

She was a lifelong homemaker while also working at the Sears Outlet in Olathe, KS for five years as well as Kay Electronics. Pat was a very active member of the Franklin county community. For over twenty years she was a member of the Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She was also a member of Grace Community Fellowship, Ottawa, Princeton Community Club, Rural Water Board, Night Crawlers Camper Club, Acorn Club, Far & Near Club, Williamsburg Lions Club, Franklin County Extension Volunteer, Women’s Christian Group, and Brethren Church Women’s Work. On June 13, 1954 Pat was united in marriage to Homer Baldwin at The Church of the Brethren, Ottawa. James preceded her in death on January 13, 1974.

On March 1, 1975 Pat was united in marriage to Ray Carey at the Church of the Brethren, Ottawa. Ray preceded her in death on March 20, 2014. Pat is also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by four children; Debbie Neis and her husband, Steve, of Wellsville, KS, Barbara Griffin and her husband Buddy of Williamsburg, KS, J.R. Baldwin of Princeton, KS and Bruce Baldwin and his wife, Carol, of Olathe, KS; one brother, Gene Adams and his wife, Ople, of Williamsburg, KS; eight grandchildren, Stacey Bless and her husband, Jeff, Kurt Neis and his wife, Jennie, Dawn Cameron and her husband, Nathan, Heath Griffin, Jennifer Baldwin and her husband Lee, Ashley Baldwin, Paige Wixson and her husband Jeff, Rylee Baldwin and 13 great grandchildren The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in c/o Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
