Obituary for Patricia Goodman Cumberland That smile. That grace. That openness.

That ability not just to ski, but to dance, on snow or on water. That organization. That honesty.

That enduring loyalty. That ability to teach even the most resistant, timid, and fearful. That unassailable reason and logic.

That font of advice and guidance. That devotion to her children, to her pets, to anyone or to anything in her care. That greenest of thumbs.

That femininity. That strength. That willingness to accept and not to judge.

That penchant for wind chimes and hummingbirds. That courage. That kindness.

That quest for perfection in all things. That sweetness. That fierceness.

That style. That—and so much more—was Pat Cumberland. Patricia Goodman Cumberland, 68, passed away in the early morning hours of March 3 at her home in Huntsville, Utah with family at her side.

She was born in Martin, Kentucky to Garland Neilus and Gypsy J. Allen Goodman. She married Frank J. Cumberland on September 17, 1980 in Bratenahl, OH. She grew up in Wilmington, Ohio.

She received an Associate Degree from Miami Jacobs Business College. She worked for many years as an Executive Assistant at British Petroleum America and most recently was a Ski Instructor and ran the Women’s Program at Snowbasin Ski Resort.

Wallace (Ryan) of Clarkston, Washington; Four Grandchildren: Cameron, Griffin, Claira, and Lucy.
