Obituary for Jay A. Orton Jay A. Orton ,62 passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Ogden, Utah. He was born on April 9, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Joseph Howard and Leona Jeanette Jensen Orton. He graduated from Weber High School and Weber State University.

He married Susan Mae Richardson on May 17, 1997 in Ogden, Utah. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jay worked at Hill Air Force Base as a computer programmer.

He enjoyed doing cross stitch, hunting, reading, making dream catchers, and many other crafts. He also enjoyed camping with his kids and family reunions. He is survived by his wife; sons: Curtis Jay Orton, Jordan James Orton, Michael Lee Orton; daughter, Kaylee Sue Orton; brother, Kelly Joe (Donna) Orton; and sisters: Lucille (Dennis) Hall, Cathy Manos, and LouAnn Fisk.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray, and James; and sister, Debra. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the North Ogden 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 770 East 2100 North, North Ogden. Family will meet with friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 6:00-8:00p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
