Glen Wallace Fletcher “Together Again” Glen Wallace Fletcher, 88, passed away on June 2, 2018. He was born August 27, 1929 in Ogden at the old Dee Hospital, the son of Clara Rozilla Bingham and Hyrum Smith Fletcher. He graduated from Weber High School in 1947 and attended Weber College.

He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. Glen married Mary Louise Lakey on November 10, 1950 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, they were married for 66 years before her passing on November 12, 2016. In his early years he served in Cub Scouting and as a Seventy in his ward doing missionary work.

His life-long passion was with music. He sung with the Southern Pacific Male Chorus and the Weber College Dorian Singers and then served in various ward and stake musical callings nearly continuously from 1956 until present. He grew up on his family farm, in Kanesville, where he developed mechanical skills; he could fix nearly anything.

Glen was an avid reader of books on gospel subjects and history. He retired from Hill AFB after 33 years. Glen is survived by his children, Glenna (Jerald) Bowden, Ronda Fletcher, Dennis (Vickie) Fletcher, Norman (Michaeline) Fletcher, Nathan (Janet) Fletcher and Shawn (Shar) Fletcher; 30 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Ben Lomond First Ward, 575 East 3100 North, No. Ogden.

A viewing will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Bryan Campbell and Signature Hospice workers and the North Ogden Ben Lomond 1st Ward. Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
