Braxton Brent Guthrie, 22 returned to his happy peaceful place on Saturday June 2, 2018. Braxton was born on July 19, 1995 in Brigham City, Utah a son of Suzette Kozak and Branden Brent Guthrie. He had a passion for hiking and camping in the mountains with the boys.

Braxton enjoyed hunting and wrestling and was very proud of his two brothers and their accomplishments in wrestling. He was a very talented artist and loved to draw. Braxton enjoyed music and music lyrics.

He graduated from Box Elder High School. Braxton loved working outside and was a talented landscaper. He had a contagious smile and had a heart of gold and loved to make people laugh and would help anyone in need.

Survived by his mother Suzette Andersen Kozak; father Branden Brent Guthrie; siblings: Brynn Wangsgard; Brayden Guthrie; Brock Guthrie; Brooklyn Guthrie. He is preceded in death by his sister Sadie Paige Kozak, grandparents: Skip and LaVerle Andersen; Brent and Kathy Guthrie; and aunt Kim Anderson. Braxton will be truly missed but forever in our hearts!

Special thanks to the Brigham Police department, Acqua Recovery and Rehab, Brigham Floral and Myers Mortuary. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Viewings will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the mortuary to help with expense. One of Braxton’s favorite sayings was “Life rolls on and so it goes”.
