Ronald Allen MacPherson slipped away peacefully on May 30th, 2018 surrounded by his family after a long and hard fought battle with ITP and cancer. He was born to Ralph and Peggy Quade MacPherson on March 14th, 1947 in Seattle. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

HIs passion and love for airplanes was evident having worked at Hill Air Force Base for 30 years as an Avionics Electrician. His all time favorite plane was the P51 Mustang. He retired after working 13 years at L3 Communications in SLC.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (aka The Mean Old Nurse), Sons Graeme (Linda), Jess (Tara), and Logan, along with eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. In addition are his brothers Ken (Sherrie), Russ, Rob (Patty), and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name, to the American Cancer Society. A heart felt thank you to the entire staff at Dr. Vincent Hansen’s office and all of the wonderful nurses and staff who cared for him at the McKay Dee Hospital and the Huntsman Cancer Research Hospital.
