Obituary for Bernadine Heiner Bernadine Burnett Heiner, 73, Peacefully passed away March 24, 2018 at her home in South Ogden, UT surrounded by her family from complications due to breast cancer. She was born May 1, 1944 in Ogden, UT to Frank E. and Leona Weaver Burnett. She married Terry Lee Heiner on February 24, 1967 in Ogden, UT.

Together they had two daughters, whom she loved dearly. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and especially her grandchildren: Shaylee, Sarah, Justin, Jacob, Sidney and Paige. Grandma Berna “G Berns” will hold a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren.

She enjoyed her many trips to Wendover, spending time in her yard and relaxing on her swing outside on the patio. She is survived by her loving Husband 51 years: Terry; Daughters: Tiffany Peterson (Blair), Jodee Bosen (Jason); Siblings: Patricia Hardy (Clint), Larry Burnett (Marsha) and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Leona Burnett and Brother: Frank Burnett, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family would like to express deepest gratitude to Inspiration Hospice, especially Debbie, Jennifer, Debora, Elaine and Jeff for their kind and compassionate care for her. They would also like to express appreciation to Stonehenge Rehabilitation for the exceptional care they provided as well. Last, but not least, thankyou for the overwhelming response from many family members and friends for your visits, kindness, thoughts and prayers.

“The Greatest Gift in Life is Family”. The family will honor her life with a graveside service on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden, UT. Family will receive family and friends at the time of service.
