Obituary for Kathleen Dee Orr Kathleen Dee Orr, 81, passed away July 8, 2018 at Mt. Ogden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ogden, UT. She was born December 15, 1936 in Twin Falls, ID.

She was raised by her Parents Dan C. and Catherine Jean Wakefield McDougall. She married Madison Hugh Orr on November 14, 1959 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Beaumont, TX. They celebrated 55 years together when he passed away August 24, 2018.

She grew up in Pocatello, ID where she received her elementary education and then the family moved to Texas where she graduated from St. Anthony’s High School. She furthered her education by attending Lamar Tech. where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art.

“Dee” lived in Pennsylvania and New York most of her adult life where she was known as a very accomplished business woman. She used her talents painting water colors as well as an Illustrator in the Fashion Industry and Greeting Card Industry for Department 56 and Gibson Greeting Cards. She loved to read and travel.

Some of her favorite places she went to were France, Italy and England. She was a Lovely, Compassionate, Nurturing and Caring Woman. She is survived by her Sisters: Ann Kinney McDougall, Jane Wilkes (Dean) and Nieces and Nephews: Jennifer, Louis, Cassandra, Ed, Cathy, McKinley, Isaiah, De’Ere, Dan and Jennifer and Sisters’-in-law: Janet and Ramona McDougall.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and Brothers Peter and Dan McDougall. The family would like to express appreciation to Legacy Hospice Staff for the care they gave to her and to her dear friends: Alice Simpson and Eileen Pocklington for their friendship over the years. The family will celebrate her life in a private ceremony.
